The screen print design of this cotton scarf is wholly inspired by the ancient art of Batik, where a 'resist' technique is employed by means of painting with hot wax which in turn 'blocks' the dye & creates the design. Our flora tile design featured here is shown on a white ground (where the wax would be!) with fuchsia detailing.
All edges are sewn and the scarf measures approx. 100x180cm - timeless, understated, lovely!
